If you have'nt heard of Blackjack Sniper before, grab yourself a coffee or some tea and read on about this new software title that is hitting the internet by storm and evening out the online casino playing field.
If you are familiar with blackjack, the software is basically a package of the various blackjack strategy there is available. Basic strategy or "Cheat sheet" has been programmed into computer software and now just makes it too easy to play blackjack online and win stupid amounts of money.
If you are new to blackjack and not sure of the basic strategy or "cheat sheet" then click here to have a quick read about it, then come back to this review. Once you have read about the basic strategies of blackjack, you will come to understand the potential of this great software title.
The basic strategy chart is huge and complex, hard to memorise and takes a while to see what to do... hit, stand, split, double etc. Playing online with the chart can be cumbersome and takes ages to have a decent game.
This is where Blackjack Sniper really shines. The entire chart is programmed, so the software tells you exactly what to do based on the dealers card. All you have to do is click which card the dealer has into the software and the software takes care of the rest.
Apart from this, what sets Blackjack Sniper apart is the built in wager management and risk management. The software keeps track of your wins and losses, if you have won too much, the software tells you to leave the casino before your luck runs out. If you have lost a hand, the software will let you know how much to bet next hand if you have lost. The software features a timer that will also tell you the best time to leave, so you actually leave the casino with full pockets instead of empty ones most of the time.
Blackjack Sniper - a Closer Look
In this section we will detail how the software works:
This is what the software looks like when you first start it up:

Very simple to use. It is pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. But for the sake of the review, we will go through the software in detail so you know exactly how to use the software to its maximum potential fi you choose to purchase.
The software is capable of playing blackjack with a single hand or up to five hands. All you need to do is check the box co-responding to hand 1 to play single hand or check all five to play five hands.. or just the first three to play three hands etc.
Once you have checked how many hands to play with, clicking the "More" box, opens up a few options regarding risk and betting management:
click on the image for a larger picture.
Base Wager: Type in the amount you are willing to bet for each hand. 1 means $1.
Progressive Betting: If you are willing to use the martingale strategy or double each bet after a losing hand check this box. The software will then remind you which hand of yours requires a double bet if it has lost. This option does not need to be checked if you are not comfortable with doubling after a loss, this option does not need to be turned on to win using blackjack sniper either.
Card Counting: This option is useless if you intend to play online blackjack. It is a fact and common knowledge, card counting does not working playing onlien blackjack. Not sure why the author had this programmed in, unless you somehow sneak a computer into the casino.
Win Limit: Set your win limit here. If you put in 20 it means winning 20 hands, not $20.
Time Limit: Recommended time limit is 20mins. 15mins is too short, but anything longer than 20mins is far too risky. If you would like to continue playing, then please quit the 'room' and enter a new one. Playing longer than 20 mins in the same room is bound to bring you some real bad luck.
Recommended Win Limits:
If you are betting with $1: 25
$2: 50
$4: 100 etc
In our example, we play $2 with a 50 win limit, 20min playing limit and progressive betting.

It's time to hit the casino, lets see how the software works while simulating some sample cards. We hit start and see the following screenshot:

The number two coressponds to a $2 wager in the hand 1 box. Which means we are playing with $2 wagers single hand. As you can see above, the software says: "Wager, Hit Deal, Then select dealer show card". So we wager our $2 at the online casino, hit the deal button at the online casino then we select the dealer show card by clicking on the cards from 2 to A in blackjack sniper.
Lets say for example, the dealer card is 10, we click on 10, then the dealer gives us a 7 and 3, then we click on 7 and 3 within blackjack sniper:
click on the image for a larger picture.
As you can see above, according to the software, after receiving a 7 and 3, the software tells us to HIT, so we do just that, we click hit at the online casino.

We receive a K, we click on K within blackjack sniper and now the software tells us to stand. The dealer deals himself a 6, so we click on 6 within the software, the dealer deals himself a 9, we click on 9 and now the dealer has gone bust, we win!

Once the round is over, we click on Start to start the next round. Notice the 2, since we haven't lost we continue to play $2 wagers.
Lets say we lost the next hand, the software reminds you what your next bet is if you have progressive bets enabled, no need to remember what your last bets were.
click on the image for a larger picture.
Since we lost the previous bet, we double up, the software tells us the next bet is going to be $4.
In a further example, we are dealth two 2s, the software decides when to split based on the dealer card, in this case the software tells us its time to split in a clear manner:
click on the image for a larger picture.
We click the split option at the online casino and then select the next card dealt within blackjack sniper by clicking on the row of cards.
Another example where the software gives us a choice to double or hit. Sometimes the software tells you to double, but the option is not available at the online casino, this is not a bug, but rather the type of blackjack game you are playing. If double is not available at the online casino, then just hit instead.

TIP: When the option of double hit is available using blackjack sniper, you need to click on the blue DOUBLE HIT image to be able to continue playing. As you can see, the row of clickable cards are missing, they are hidden behind the blue DOUBLE HIT image. So be sure to click on DOUBLE HIT. This had us confused for a while.
After clicking DOUBLE HIT image, the row of clickable cards magically appear and we continue to play:

Lets assume we have been playing for a while and have won some good amount of money, our win limit was set to 50 hand wins and our time limit was set to 15mins, whichever comes first, the software alerts you when it is time to move on:
click on the image for a larger picture.
In this case, we have won 50 times, time to move on....
Here we have reached our time limit, time to move on....

So far we have covered how blackjack sniper works, uncovering its features and have safely determined that it is indeed a powerful yet very simple and basic software package that allows anyone to use it right from the word go.
There is however one thing that we have not yet done is test it at our favourite online casino:
Having the software made easy to use, intiuitve and full of features is one thing, but actually working and making gamblers money is another so we have to put it to the test!

Blackjack Sniper works really well playing single hand with single deck Gold Series Blackjack. Same goes for playing 5 or less decks Multihand Blackjack playing five hands.
Conclusion and Webmaster's Verdict
The software does what it claims it does, it helps you win money at blackjack. Overall it really is a great package, the software is so easy to use out of the box anyone can play and win at online blackjack, even those who have never played blackjack before, literally anyone can get into online blackjack gambling.
However, the software is not perfect, let me explain. Whilst using the software, and say for example you fold or go bust, you click on the co-ressponding cards into blackjack sniper and the software tells you, you have folded, but the software still waits for you to then put the dealer cards in. You would probably know, in online blackjack, once the player has gone bust or folded the game quits and starts the new round, the dealer does'nt deal itself a card. So the next round has started, but blackjack sniper is still waiting for the dealer card. Its a minor bug, but it would be better if the software re-set itself ready for the next round once the players cards have folded or gone bust.
One bug which did occur from time to time, is adjusting the win limit and time limits. Using the software we adjust the time limit to 20 and win limit to 50, starting the software and winning the first hand already resulted in blackjack sniper telling us to quit because we have won enough! Closing the software and re-opening it does tend to fix the problem. We are positive the author knows of this bug and will fix it in the next release.
We did try to however uninstall and re-install the software to combat this issue. When running blackjack sniper for the first time after an install, the software asks you to put in a registration key, to our surprise after entering our key we were alerted that it has expired. It turns out the registration key expires after 24 hours, and if you have not activated the software within that time you need to request a new one
This may take up to 24 hours before the support team gets back to you. The downside to this is, if you need to uninstall the software after 24 hours you need a new key, or if your hard drive crashes for whatever reason, you will need a new key. This can be a hassle, it would be better if the registration method was handled differently to handle piracy.
To summarise: Great software package, does infact win you money and is a great investment at only $39.95. It is not perfect, but it is close.
